Voice Lessons

Students taking lessons will learn what it takes to produce good-quality sound.  Each lesson promises 30-55 minutes of active one-on-one coaching with exercises created to meet the needs of the students.  Areas of focus include breathing correctly, pitch matching, range development, articulation, and ear training.  Students may learn music from a variety of genres, or choose to concentrate on one main area of music.  Music theory fundamentals will also be covered within the session if needed or asked for.  Many students are motivated through self-help tools to eliminate fear and focus on a strong performance. This class will help you eliminate stage fright, fear, and the anxiety that blocks you from delivering and performing the way you would like to. It's specifically designed to help any person speaking in front of an audience.



DIRECTOR TRAINING

  • Everything you need to know to instruct and train a choir, ensemble, praise team for churches, or for the stage. This course goes into detail with knowing the keys of all songs, teaching parts to any section, knowing vocal ranges, selecting the appropriate music for concerts, services, and for other events. It's designed to prepare you to train singers in the best way possible.

VOCAL COACH TRAINING

  • Specific training on how to coach clients in singing, music theory, and performance development. This course provides specific instructions on how to relate and connect with your client, how to find their voice and expand it, how to select appropriate music for their range, and how to teach any different genres.



Workshops

Workshops are designed to revitalize the choir and or praise team. Over time ensemble rehearsals can become monotonous. Effective strategies for warm-up calisthenics, sound production, breathing, and energized singing will be taught and worked on.  Ensembles will work on new material, voice placement, balance, blending, and effective dynamics.  Workshops also cover director/trainer fundamentals and vocal health.  Workshops vary in length and depth and are built according to the desire of the minister of music, choir director, and or vocal trainer.
